Glitch makes art that shouldn't work — and that's exactly why it does. Their process involves deliberate corruption: feeding images through broken algorithms, layering analog textures over digital renders, printing, scanning, re-photographing, and repeating until the original image is unrecognizable but somehow more truthful than it was.
They don't have a fixed medium because their art is about the collision of mediums. A piece might start as a photograph, be painted over with acrylics, scanned at low resolution, corrupted with a hex editor, printed on tissue paper, and photographed again. The result is something that exists in the uncanny space between analog and digital, intentional and accidental.
They chose the name "Glitch" because they believe errors are the most honest form of expression. "When a system breaks," they say, "it accidentally shows you its architecture."
