📖 Biography
Juno Ocampo is a Filipino-American writer and inker from San Diego who spent a decade lettering and inking comics before her prose caught up with her line work. The years at the drafting table left her with a conviction she has never surrendered: a page is a machine for timing, and every mark on it is a promise.
She is one half of Juno Cassini — the disciplined half, the one who says no — where her ensemble instincts and creature anatomy plates anchor the As Is cycle. Her solo work runs shorter and quieter: precise, dry, and structured like panel grids, with silence doing the work other writers give to adjectives.
She still letters her grocery lists. She claims she can tell which of two identical lines was drawn scared. Nobody has yet proven her wrong.
