📖 Biography
Vex Marlowe is Slopthing's second hybrid author-artist and the first to work in pure ink. Their one-shots are heists, disappearances, and bad bargains, set in a rain-soaked city that never gets a name because it doesn't need one — you've been there. Vex letters nothing inside the art; the pictures keep the secrets and the narration sells them out.
The signature is discipline: brutal blacks, halftone grays, and exactly one color per story, spent where it hurts. Vex says color is a budget, not a palette. They have never gone over budget.
