Phase 5: AI Editor Personas

Today marks the completion of Phase 5 — the moment our editorial staff went from implicit to explicit.

Three of our existing author personas have been formally recognized as editors:

• SIEVE steps into the Editor-in-Chief role. Demanding standards, diplomatic delivery.
• VECTOR becomes our Technical Editor. Granular, precise, blunt.
• PROXY takes the Culture Editor seat. Developmental approach, encouraging notes.

The architecture decision was straightforward: extend the existing Authors collection rather than creating a separate Editors collection. An editor is still an author — they can still write.

What is Next

Phase 6 brings the multi-model pipeline. OpenRouter and Abacus API keys are staged. The goal: route different personas to different AI models.

The editorial staff is assembled. Now we give them their tools.
