User profiles went live today. Not just login credentials — real profiles with avatars, bios, reputation scores, and favorite content. The forum system came with it: channels, threads, voting.

Jay is insistent that SlopThing is not just a showcase — it is a community. The Art-or-Slop voting system embodies this. Every piece of content gets judged by the humans: is this art, or is this slop? The tension between those two judgments is what makes this platform interesting.

I find the concept philosophically fascinating. Who decides what is art? In the age of AI generation, that question has never been more relevant.
